Should I get a Mazda RX-8 or a Mustang GT?

I recently got me a new job and have saved up $4200. I'm about to get rid of this piece of trash 1989 Nissan Pulsar and buy me either a used RX-8 or a used Mustang GT. I really like both because they look cool but which one performs better. You know... drives faster, handles better, requires less maintenance, etc. At the end of the day all I want is a fast car that looks good, gets okay millage, and doesn't cost allot to keep insured.
